Application of Neutrons and Synchrotron Radiation in Materials Science with special focus on Fundamental Aspects of Materials

The school will take place in from 1 to 6 September 2024 at Haus der bayerischen Landwirtschaft in Herrsching (near Munich, also see "Venue") and at the FRM II in Garching (near Munich). The programme will cover all relevant experimental methods using neutrons in materials science in a three-day theoretical course and includes a two-day practical.

The school starts with a Get Together on Sunday night. Poster sessions for the participants to present their work will be held on Monday and Tuesday. On Thursday night, a conference dinner will take place. More details to follow in due course.
