i-TRIBOMAT: The European Tribology Centre
VIPCOAT project was invited to participate in the i-TRIBOMAT launch event on May 12 in Wiener Neustadt. The OITB consortium partners and invited guests selebrated the project sucsess finilized in March 2023 by launching the i-TIBOMAT legal eninty. We wish a good luck to the company in the business development.
During the meeting we discussed copperation opportunities of VIPCOAT and i-TRIBOMAT. Some plans are already prepared.

9th ASST Symposium
VIPCOAT consortium members, M. Zheludkevich, A. Mol, S. Lamaka, H. Terryn, C. Özkan, and N. Abdelrahman, represented their work at the Aluminum Surface Science & Technology Symposium 2023
(ASSTS-2023) on May 21-25 in Stockholm. The contributions covered both important topics – predictive modeling and experimental validation of the active protective coatings for AA2024.

M24 VIPCOAT CONSORTIUM MEETING
The VIPCOAT Consortium had the opportunity to meet in-person for its Month 24 Consortium Meeting on May 31-June 02, 2023 at our partner SINTEF Ocean in Trondheim, Norway.
The consortium discussed its progress of the last months and future plans. Moreover, the important milestone, Alpha-release of the VIPCOAT OIP, was demonstrated and reported during the meeting. Additionally, some internal workshops on ProMo application and use, Datamodels concept and implementation, BPMN & Translation, B2B2B implementation aspects, Collaborative Environment of VIPCOAT OIP and the project exploitation strategy were organized to demonstrate the details and discuss needed additional features of the OIP. The fruitful feedback from the consortium and External Advisory Board members was collected.
In addition, there was the opportunity to visit the SINTEF facilities and participate in an interesting tour in Trondheim city.
