A mini-symposium on modelling approaches for coating protection of interfaces was organized by Herman Terryn (VUB) on August 25, 2021.Porfessor R. G. Kelly from Center for Electrochemical Science and Engineering at the University of Virginia presented (online) the lecture “Finite element modelling of organic coating protection mechanisms in the presence of defects and the effects of deleterious galvanic couples”.
