Regarding the Collection and Processing of Personal Data

For the purpose of the above-mentioned research project, we conduct interviews, workshops, observations, and surveys. In doing so, we will process personal data about you. Below, we inform you about the data processing activities related to the project.

Recording and Transcription of Interviews and Workshops
Interviews and workshops will be digitally recorded using a tape recorder for data security purposes, anonymized (i.e., deletion or anonymization of all personal information such as names, locations, etc., stored without reference to names), and then transcribed by machine. The audio recordings will be deleted after transcription. Therefore, it will no longer be possible to identify the interviewee or workshop participants from the anonymized data.

Further Use Within the Project and in Publications
The anonymous transcripts of interviews and workshops will be used for research and analysis purposes and will not be published in full. In scientific publications, only excerpts from interviews or workshop contributions will be quoted to ensure that the overall context of events does not lead to identification of the individuals involved.

Your declaration of consent and contact details (if collected) will be stored separately from the interview data, subject to processing restrictions, and will be deleted or destroyed in accordance with data protection regulations after the end of the research project (October 2027), unless otherwise agreed. If legal retention obligations apply, deletion will occur only after the retention period expires.

Anonymous transcripts will be retained for 10 years in accordance with good scientific practice.
