Led by Dr. Peter Hoffmann, the group investigates which conflicts but also synergies between climate protection and climate adaptation measures can occur with regard to the health of city dwellers. The aim is to develop climate service tools for urban planning and the health sector so that the health aspect can be taken into account in the transformation of cities towards CO2 neutrality. To this end, the group is cooperating with scientists from the University of Hamburg, the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Osaka University.
