From 19th to 24th May we conducted our first set of experiments in terms of tensor tomography with an bone-implant sample at the beamline I12, JEEP, at Diamond Light Source in the UK. Rotations around the rotation axis and for tilts in the X-ray beam direction were performed with a Euler cradle kindly lent to us from beamline I11.
We had great support from our local contact whilst at I12 and went back home with a nice (and large) set of data.
Check out the beamline here.

As usual we had great fun during the experiment and even got to see the crane in action. The Euler cradle was positioned on the Optics table right in front of the diamond exit window of the beam.
