Every activity in WIRKsam is derived from this vision and the associated mission. The scientific coordination ensures that the transdisciplinary approaches developed in the six model regions can be integrated, enabling the formulation of generalizable statements on climate adaptation. In this way, the scientific basis for transferring findings to other regions and the ability to connect to and align with current policy and strategy processes is ensured.
